Lootmaster Ledger

Build an event loot budget, turn it into ready-to-hide packets, and make fast reward bundles for mods. The goal is a living world, not a vending machine in a haunted cloak.

Ledger ready.

Event Economy Dial

Starting default: each ten active players per adventure day creates roughly 7 minor finds, 3 standard finds, 1 major find, and an occasional rare story reward. Lean keeps treasure hungry; generous is for a festival, a gold rush, or controlled chaos.

What Goes Out

PacketCountWhat it usually containsPurpose
Economy guardrail: Keep about 35% of packets currency, 35% crafting materials, 15% consumables, 10% information or keys, and only around 5% distinctly magical rewards. Currency gets found; choices and stories get remembered.

Seed Planner

Every generated packet gets a placement prompt, a distinct ID, and a short contents list. Mark it placed when it leaves your hands and vanishes into the wilds.

Manifest Overview

Use case: Generate the full manifest before game, print it, then hand smaller stacks to plot staff. The ID makes it easy to say “put packet M-014 in the north woods” without opening a dozen treasure boxes in the parking lot.

Fast Mod Reward Generator

Mods get an outcome ladder: a baseline reward for success, a bonus for strong play, and a consolation clue or consequence when the party falls short. That keeps a failed scene from becoming a dead hallway.

Reward Philosophy

Small sceneOne useful find, a few resources, or a lead. It should feel worthwhile, not like finding a an impossible treasure vault.
Standard modA meaningful material reward plus a consumable, clue, or choice that changes what comes next.
Major / finaleA rare resource, signature item, faction leverage, or plot key. Make it loud enough to echo.
For a group reward: favor packets with multiple different things over one oversized pile of currency. That creates conversation, trade, and very polite arguments around the tavern table.

Generated Reward

Choose the scene details, then generate a reward. Nothing is staged yet.

Manual Outgoing Log

Manual is for anything you hand out outside the generator: emergency rewards, staff fixes, merchant payouts, special props, favors, or cleanup corrections.

Game Balance Snapshot

Auto tracking: Use Log Outgoing on world packets when they are actually found or handed off. Use Add to Manifest on mod rewards, or log them directly from the tracker if a scene changes at the table.

Weights and value: Weight controls how often an item appears. Value C is copper worth, using 10C = 1S and 100C = 1G. Tiers determine where items can appear: minor packets mostly draw Tier 1, standard can reach Tier 2, major reaches Tier 3, and rare/story packets can reach Tier 4.
